The Tanzania Human Genetics Organization (THGO) proudly congratulates Ms. Grantina Modern, our Deputy General Secretary and Executive Committee Member, on her successful participation in the 100 PhDs for Africa Summer School 2025, held from 16th to 20th June at the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) in Morocco.
This transformative programme brought together 24 PhD students from 9 African countries, creating a vibrant platform for academic exchange and innovation. Participants engaged in a rich lineup of sessions focused on research and scientific impact, entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, intellectual property rights and protection, scientific writing and communication, as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in African development.
Throughout the week, Ms. Grantina actively participated in high-level workshops, discussions, and networking events, strengthening connections across Africa’s research and innovation landscape. Her involvement reflects THGO’s commitment to nurturing excellence in science and driving knowledge that leads to real-world solutions for the continent.
