Sabra is a medical student  at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with an outstanding leadership background. At Tanzania Human Genetics Organisation (THGO), she co-leads the Events Team as she is passionate on events planning and organisation and strives to influence a change in the approach of genetic diseases in clinical settings. She has also held several leadership positions at her university in Tanzania and is currently serving as the East African Students Union Vice President, an umbrella union that brings together national student organisations of the East African member states.

Sabra is enthusiastic about female and youth involvement in policy formulation and other decision making areas in accelerating growth and sustainable development across the region. Her other areas of growing interest are clinical research, surgery and mental health. She enjoys volunteering, fashion designing, socialising and reading in her spare time.
