Peleka Joseph is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Dar es Salaam, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology 2024. He served as the Assistant Coordinator of the Microbiology and Biotechnology Students’ Association (MBSA) for the academic year 2023/2024.
With career aspirations in medical research, biostatistics, and bioinformatics, Peleka is also skilled in using Adobe software for graphic design, UX/UI design, and website design and management. He is the Creative Director at Peleka Digital, offering digital services such as graphics designing, UX/UI, website designing, and social media management.
In addition, Peleka is the Digital Manager for the Watoto Afrika Initiative, an organization that advocates for children’s mental health and well-being by supporting, educating, and empowering children for a safe and happy childhood. He serves as the Deputy Chairperson, Digital Platform and Social Media Manager for The Youth PowerHouse Tanzania, which focuses on educating youth and society on socio-economic aspects, health, and environmental issues.
At the Tanzania Human Genetics Organization (THGO), he interns with the Communication Team, serving as the Communication Team Co-Lead and Graphics Team Lead.
